The Vatican

Here is a layout I made from our recent trip to Italy. We were in Rome just for half a day and I'm glad we
got to be at the vatican.

I used a sketch from an Israely challenge blog:

In my eyes you are the center of the world

In this LO I used a photo of my son from the end of the year celebration. I edited the photo in Photoshop so my son will be the only one in color.

I colored some modeling paste in Yellow and pearl x and worked with a leaf mask. then I cut it and added some chipboard, firefly punched shapes and a small piece of paper for journaling.

At the left bottom corner of the photo, I created a cluster of embellishments from several types of embellis. I misted some white flowers to matc the colors I used.

For the title I used two different Hebrew alpahs. the title spells "In my eyes you are the center of the world".

at the side I added some more chipboard and stickers

And Finally at the top left I made some flags from washi tapes and tooth picks that I colored in White.

The Bat Man

My son is in his super heroes period. a few month ago, at the prime of his obssesion, one day a friend of him from kindergarten came with a unique batman suit. that suit had a hoodie with bat ears. naturally my son took it very bad that he doesn't have a suit like this. when we came home that day, he announced that I am going to make him a batman suit. To be honest, I was very proud to realize that he knows my abbilities and wants to use them.
we made the mask from felt and the cape and shirt were made from old t shirts. It took about two hours and he was with me the whole time helping and advising. I had the best time! and he was so happy with it!

Here is the process video of making the layout:
I used a sketch from Sketches in Thyme:

Sketches in thyme are having a DT call with this sketch so I thought why not give it a try. for all details regarding the call please visit their blog here:

Pals layout

I was challenged by my friend Anat to use some cosmetics in a project.

I went through my make up box and found a shimmering body lotion which I used to make a swirl embelishment. the swirl was cut in my ecraft, I covered it with the lotion and then, covered again with a transparent 3D glue to make sure it will not smear.

then, I too a red nail pollish and dripped some on my page. I really liked how it turned out.

Supermen card for my little super hero

We are about to celebrate Rosh Hashana in a few days. this is the Jewish new year.
In my Son's kindergarten, his teacher asked each parent to make a card for their child. obviously I had to make something fabuluse!

I made a pop up card for the very first time! I really like the way it turned out.

this is how it looks before you open it.

When you open it, superman is flying in the clouds

wishing a happy new year

Beginning

I Made this LO with a photo from my wedding.
The entire background is made by lots of pieces from old books, no scrspbooking paper was used at all.
I love the outcome!  all the tiny details gathered into one harmonic LO.
